What is Kerner? a white grape from a cross between riesling (white grape) and Schiava Grossa, a red grape well known in Alto Adige and some parts of Austria and Germany. 

What is it like: crisp with aromas of red apple and fresh white peach, it has refreshing acidity that is smoothen by the fruitiness. Serve chilled and it is a wonderful drink in a warm afternoon as an aperitif or to go with your seafood dish. Try it with Chinese seafood!
