What is it like? A Barolo will always have a steely character. In the hands of Negretti it carries an elegance. Mirau is from two parcels in La Morra which has a higher composition of sand amongst the clay-calcareous marl. It has more elegance and carries more spicy notes like corriander and curry. A "quieter" sibling of Bricco Ambrogio.
How to serve? To allow our taste buds to better appreciate a Barolo, drink it with food (except seafood!). We suggest more tender red meat, or something like Ossobuco.
