What is it like? Sangiovese in Maremma, coastal neighbour of Tuscany, is more “moderated” in the strength of the tannins and easier and earlier to be approached. Falkorosso is cheerful, medium body, has the juiciness of Sangiovese (85%) and the mellow fruitiness of Merlot (15%). Perfect for warm/hot summer as its clean, fresh notes will give a lift to appetite. It goes well with pasta, roast meat. Try it with fried rice or noodles. Serve at 16 degrees (10 minutes from the fridge)
